Gio Ponti and the Richard-Ginori: an unusual correspondence
This exhibition presented a selection of about fifty pieces among those least known coming from the extensive collection of Gio Ponti ceramics in the Doccia Museum along with a group of around thirty letters written by the architect/designer most of which have never been published. The letters come from the Doccia archives and include sketches, drawings and instructions for their production. This exhibition was promoted by the Friends of Doccia in collaboration with the Richard Ginori Museum of the Doccia Factory and was sponsored by the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, with a contribution also by Richard-Ginori 1735.
